New GP practice to open
It’s been the longest wait in NHS history, but West Kirby’s new Health and Wellbeing Centre opens on Monday.
The complex is the new home for Marine Lake Medical Practice and Estuary Medical Practice, both currently based at The Concourse. Their telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. Read more.
Business networking event
A new networking event for local business people is taking place in West Kirby next week.
Wirral Entrepreneurs Network will meet for the first time on Tuesday 23 May from 10am - 12 midday at Leaf Tea Shop and Bar on Black Horse Hill, but you need to register to attend. Read more.
New name for The Ridger
The Ridger pub is undergoing refurbishment and is to reopen with a new name in June.
A new management team, who currently run the Coach & Horses in Greasby, have announced it will be known as the Newton Arms. Read more.
Look out for us in ‘The Lake’
We’re delighted to be featured in the current edition of The Lake, the local interest magazine for West Kirby, Hoylake, Meols and Caldy. It also features regular columns from the Wirral Society and auctioneer John Crane.

Things to do!
Nine Leaves coffee shop in Hoylake is launching a kids book swap hour from 10 - 11am every Sunday, starting from 21 May. It’s a chance for little ones to meet up, make new friends or discover a new story, while parents and carers relax.
Hoylake Artisan Market takes place at The Ship Inn on Saturday 27 May from 11am - 4pm, including handmade gifts, original art and food.
